Starting to play guitar
When two or more notes are played at the same time, the effect is called a chord. One of the simplest ways to begin playing is to construct basic chord shapes on open-string positions. The strings are tuned so that chords can be produced when the fingers are placed in certain set patterns. Harmony is the term used for the arrangement of notes and chords in a musical structure. It is very easy to produce chordal harmony by brushing the right-hand fingers across the strings. The left-hand fingers press strings against the fingerboard to create fretted notes. This will make your fingertips sore at first, but the problem will soon pass(with practice), the skin will harden and the muscles of the left hand will become stronger.

Tabulator

the tab system is used when writing down guitar music. the tabulator indicates where you place your fingers, and the order in which to play. The # on the line is the Fret number her a few examples.....
